a charming Stay

good portion excellent coffee smooth surface
The breakfast portion was a good size and included black pudding. This IS always a treat. I also appreciated the excellent coffee. The hotel location was great for visiting the nearby airfield. It's literally just across the way. There was plenty of space in the car park, and the surface was fresh and smooth.
The staff in the restaurant were not very friendly, and I felt we were an inconvenience.
Rooms

The room was very nice and spacious, a HUGE bonus. It was also very clean, which I value highly. The bed was very comfortable. There was a restaurant and bar on site for extra convenience.

mixed feelings about the stay

noisy hand dryer converted cupboard
i booked what was described as a king room, but it was like a converted cupboard. it was in the basement (already not great), next to staff storage and a toilet. the noisy hand dryer was used early and late, really disruptive.
