underwhelming stay, sadly
stuck heatingbanging noise
The heating was stuck on high in my room. It was like a sauna. i had to open a window in january. then. there was this weird banging noise every few minutes. It rattled the whole room. apparently, it was the kitchen door. the staff acted like they'd never heard of it, but the internet says otherwise!

The hotel boasts a clean room with tidy decor. I found the bed VERY comfortable. Friendly staff welcomed me upon arrival, especially Dave. The decor in the room was lovely.
The reception was not clearly signed, I walked around with my arms full. It was quite annoying.

the staff were fantastic. costa and kellie were especially friendly, i found them to be very cute and helpful. the food was excellent, particularly at the onsite restaurant. the location is great, with easy access to nearby attractions. i appreciated the parking available out front.
The bedroom was too hot. I could not adjust the radiator valve. this made it difficult to sleep comfortably. the shower had black mold which was unpleasant.

the standard double room had a comfortable bed. it was also nicely decorated. the room included tea and coffee making facilities, a detail i found thoughtful.
