Mediocre experience with SOME ISSUES
small mugs carton cups
The mugs in the room were too small. I dislike carton cups. Glasses at reception were tiny. There was no water in the room. There were too few tea/coffee and milk offerings for two people. Two single mattresses felt hard. They seemed suitable for children but not for adults.

fantastic stay!
friendly guy perfect location easy parking clean hotel
Check-in was very good. the guy was very helpful and friendly. location was perfect. I was visiting family nearby, and the ability to walk into town was essential. parking was easy and very convenient. the hotel was great, clean, and comfortable!!!
the gym opening at 7am was too late for me, so i went for a brisk early morning walk instead.

the superior queen room was tidy and in good repair. it featured carpeted floors and a seating area. the room included a tv with cable channels. the air conditioning worked perfectly, maintaining a comfortable temperature.

I found the staff particularly amazing and helpful. The discounted parking, costing £7 for up to 24 hours, presented great value. Breakfast included friendly, helpful staff ensuring a solid start to the day.
The sink plug was stiff and barely worked, made using it inconvenient.

small mugs firm mattress
The room was clean. That met my basic expectations.
the separate toilet felt cramped (honestly, like a closet). the mugs in the room were ridiculously small and only a very limited supply of tea and coffee was available for two people. i found the single mattress a bit too firm for my liking.

the staff i met were polite and helpful. the breakfast had a nice selection. the room included a fridge and an iron (very useful).
the mugs in the room were quite small, not ideal for a proper cup of tea. there was a christmas tree in reception (in may). the separate toilet felt a bit small and claustrophobic.
