The room I stayed in featured a nice king bed and fluffy pillows. I found complimentary shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The towels provided were very good quality. I got a good night's sleep in the comfortable room.
Checking in was chaotic, as the phone number provided was for a lady who was not working. It took nearly thirty minutes to complete the check in process.

My walking group stopped by for coffee and cake, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. We watched paddleboarders as they prepared to enter the Little Ouse river. The cafe service was great.

The hotel has a beautiful outdoor area. I liked the walk next to the hotel along the Little Ouse, it was full of wildlife. The annex is dog friendly.

The room needed some updating, i noticed excessive traffic noise. the whole room shook when lorries passed. This happened all night, and i could hardly sleep. the staff did not have other rooms available after i mentioned the noise problem.

The room i booked was not in the main hotel building. It was in a separate hotel down a busy road. walking to breakfast along that road with constant traffic was not ideal. the breakfast itself was mediocre, and some of the fruit provided looked past its prime.
