lovely getaway

i also ordered snacks from the bar menu, and i thought the food was really excellent. every staff member i met was cheerful and friendly, and that really affects how at home you feel.
i found the tap water in the room not suitable for drinking, so i had to buy bottled water, an extra expense.

the hotel features a lovely courtyard garden area, it is perfect for eating outside on warmer days. there is also convenient on-site parking , so you never need to worry about finding a space nearby.

my room was a great size and offered everything needed for a comfortable stay. the bed was very comfy, and i liked that the room had both a bath and a shower. the room was quiet since it was on the back side of the building.

the hotel has a central location, and it has pubs, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance (especially the wonderful coffee shop). woburn estate is right on the doorstep, so it's a great base for exploring the area.

the room overlooked some kind of service area and it was so loud. i could hear banging all night. i asked for a quieter room, but they said they were full, which i didn't really believe. it really ruined my stay.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. i really liked the dab radio that was available. I listened to the morning news (what a treat!). i found the staff to be both friendly and very professional, so i could ask them anything.
The tap water in the rooms was not suitable for drinking. I would have liked bottled water.

The restaurant food was AMAZING!!! The staff were friendly. My room, a Standard Double Room, included two complimentary bottles of water, which I appreciated. The parking was also good. It was close to the entrance.
The coffee at breakfast was not the best. It tasted a bit bitter.
