The welcome was very friendly at the reception desk, check-in happened early with no issues. our room was clean and had great amenities and amazing views. We loved it. the location is right on the cliff side, it gives views over the coast of madeira. the staff training is high standard, breakfast impressed us very much.
The hot tub closed at 8pm. I felt a little rushed after exploring all day. i think 9pm would give more opportunity after busy days of walking.

The hotel has a wonderful location close to santana, you have fine view of the coast among vineyards. the hotel has a feel of a mountain chalet. it's a great location with wonderful views of the ocean. the location is very peaceful. It is a calm location.

The hotel offered a daily activity such as a baking class. I participated in a wine tasting. It was enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was good. I could order egg dishes.
The room lacked air conditioning. It became hot and humid at night making it hard to sleep. The outdoor pool was cold, and the indoor pool was only suitable for children.

the breakfast was fantastic, it had fresh orange juice. staff members were pleasant. the hotel is well situated for beautiful sea views.
the room did not include air conditioning. at night, it became so hot and humid i struggled to sleep. the bed had a cheap mattress and pillows were visibly lumpy. the furniture was low quality.
