the grounds were well maintained and the free activities held interest. movie night with popcorn was fun and aqua fit in the pool was enjoyable. the breakfast variety was varied and food was excellent. staff remembered my gluten free bread order every day.

The swimming pool is quite nice.

I found the first room had a VERY strong mold odor (a no-go). The service felt impersonal. It is not what one expects at a five-star hotel in Asia (compared to others). I did not feel welcome. It was quite distant and not a warm welcome.
