the hotel room was spacious it included a very large comfortable bed with good pillows the breakfast was tasty the service was also good

the bathroom decor could use refurbishment the cracked basin could prove a health hazard i booked the room as a birthday treat for my husband i felt very let down

The grounds were gorgeous and great for walks, especially with the tennis court and playground, I really enjoyed that! staff members were friendly and always ready to help. the room was nice, the bed comfortable, I had everything i needed for a restful night.

I found some areas needing updates. The stairs and balconies looked worn, the wood seemed like it hadnt been varnished in a while. the room felt dated. It seemed like it hadnt been updated since the 90s, with floral curtains. there were few power sockets and no usb ports, this was a real problem because i needed to charge my devices.

Wonderful Stay in a Manor House

The beds were comfortable, and I could have laid there longer. Staff informed me that deer frequently passed through the gardens, and I did see them. I also spotted birds in abundance, so I was very happy. Early one evening I saw a mouse, popping out from under a bush.

The room was cold upon my arrival. I had to request a second heater. the toilets were hard to flush. I think it would be better to supply mugs that fit under the spout of the Nespresso coffee machine because the ones in my room were too large for the machine.

The hotel features leisure facilities, and I found them to be well kept. There is also an outdoor pool available . I enjoyed spending time around the grounds, they are beautiful.

I had breakfast at The Solent Kitchen, and the welcome was very warm. The service was friendly. The staff organized a good breakfast, so I highly recommend this dining option. The meals in the restaurant were excellent.

The hotel has a nice location. It is a short walk to the Isle of Wight Ferry. It was less than 8 minute walk to the Ferry. The hotel also has large, beautiful grounds stretching to the water.

The staff were helpful and professional, so I really appreciated it. The reception staff were quick to offer an alternative room when I requested a room change. The staff was attentive, and always very friendly. I am grateful.
