broken double bed disgusting cream
The breakfast had a nice selection of food.
The double bed in my room was broken. It was not usable. I also had an ice cream sundae for dessert one night, but the cream tasted off. When I told the waiter, he did not address it.

slow service missing menu
I found the restaurant service quite slow. It took ages to get someone's attention. also, there wasn't a room service menu in my room, a pretty basic thing i would expect. it made ordering food a real hassle. information about my stay was minimal at check-in. I felt quite uninformed

smooth check-in friendly staff fresh options
check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly at the front desk. the parking was conveniently located near victoria hall. the restaurant offered a good selection, and breakfast had fresh options.
The tv had some signal issues. This made finding channels difficult.

excellent waffle maker fresh waffle nice hash browns tricky air con curdled cream poor sleep
i enjoyed the excellent waffle maker. i could make my own waffle and enjoy it fresh. there was a little difficulty with the machine though. at points the waffle kept getting stuck to the cooker. the hash browns were also very nice.
the air con was tricky to use. this resulted in a hot night. the cream on top of the "kids" ice cream sundae seemed off. it may have been curdled or over whipped. my two piers did not sleep well.

excellent stay!
clean room comfortable bed
The room was very clean and spacious. the bathroom was lovely and the beds were comfortable. i was happy that i could rent an umbrella cheaply for 48 hours. That was very useful when i visited for work. the staff was lovely and i will definitely book again.
the carpet in my room was stained in various places which is unacceptable. when i saw the invoice the next morning, i noticed that my husband's card had been charged instead of mine. obviously this was unauthorized and on checking out the receptionist could only apologize.

mixed experience, some issues noticed
greasy food hot plate
Room service was not great. the food was greasy and seemed low quality. (i had to pay extra for delivery!) ice cream was served on a hot plate. Part of it melted. also, when i tried to collect the food myself to avoid the delivery fee, staff refused to give me a trolley.
