My room was a King Suite Lounge Country View. The room included a separate seating area. The hotel supplied fresh towels daily.
The coffee machine in the room was a bit noisy when brewing.

Gardens and great food

well kept gardenscommunal areasgarden view bedroom
The gardens were very well kept I thought. The communal areas were also in a good condition. I stayed in a classic garden view bedroom and its size was great. The bathroom featured a great hot shower.
I have no complaints about my stay.

Acceptable stay overall

friendly staffkept buildinghelpful staffnoisy tapsworn doorearly wake-up
The staff were friendly. The building appears beautiful and is well kept. The gardens looked lovely even near the end of the year. Reception staff were also helpful.
Attention to detail seemed lacking. Taps were noisy. The bottom of the bathroom door was worn away. Crows woke me up early on both mornings. The sounds were like a dawn chorus.
