mixed experience , some issues noted
distant parkingdark room
i booked parking because it was listed as a facility , however there was definitely no parking onsite. it was about an 8-minute walk away , costing £20 per 24 hours. i did not pursue the issue , so i skipped breakfast. the window was frosted , the room was quite dark. past 11 pm , i heard loud banging outside , like bottles being put into a bin , and banging from the room next door.

the staff was great and very helpful. the room was very clean and well-sized. i found the bathroom to be very nice and well-designed. good food was also available in the forge restaurant.
the room was quite dark because we could not see out of the frosted window.

The staff offered friendly service. The hotel provides many options for breakfast with freshly cooked hot food. My room was spotlessly clean and I found plenty of complimentary teas, coffee, milk, soft drinks, snacks, and biscuits. The location is close to the railway station and main shopping street.

The staff were lovely, making the reception area cute.
I was quite let down that the room lacked available bath robes upon arrival. There was also a noticeable amount of dust. I even found a sock from a previous guest under the bed.

The room had welcome drinks and popcorn. Breakfast offered a wide selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful, supporting with taxi and transport information. I was even offered an umbrella during rainy days.
I noticed a lot of dust on the black telephone in the room.

The staff members are helpful. An Indian restaurant near the premises was recommended to us and a table was reserved for Saturday evening. An English adapter was available because ours did not work with the laptop. The railway station is a short walk from the premises.
The window was frosted and made the room dark.
