Faultless Stay at Riverside Gem

maintained roomsspacious bathroomefficient staffslow service
I was charmed by the well maintained rooms I found. The bathroom featured very spacious design and everything was fully functional. Staff efficiency impressed me and they seemed happy to help. The wide range of available drinks covered both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
I found service slow at one point. We waited an hour to sit at a pre-booked table. It seems the restaurant tries seating more people than it can accommodate.
Dining
9/10
My daughter enjoyed fresh and tasty fish and chips. I had flavorful chicken and ginger curry and my wife chose crispy beef salad. Many gluten-free options are available and offer many choices for diverse diets.
Service
10/10
The hotel provided fantastic and attentive service for me. The staff worked at a relaxed pace, something I found appropriate for the pleasant setting. Emily, our server, stood out with her helpfulness and constant smile.
Rooms

I found our room cosy, yet it was decorated nicely and fitted well. Slippers and robes added a touch of luxury for our stay. The bathroom was great and very modern.
Location

The restaurant has a great ambiance. I found the food to be good, and I appreciated that they catered well to allergies. There is also a good range of drink choices at the bar, and the prices are average.

The service was excellent and unobtrusive. Staff was good-natured. Our orders came within a reasonable time, and starters, mains, and desserts all arrived without long waits or fragmented delivery. The staff's care was really good.

mixed experience, issues with service

spacious roomslow greetingunsuitable spot
the room was spacious.
I found myself waiting quite a while to be greeted upon arrival. I had booked a table and ended up just sitting at a reserved spot. after about five minutes, a staff member asked me to move because the table was meant for four people, not two (plus two dogs). i was then directed to a spot by the main thoroughfare to the bar, which really wasn't suitable for us.

Wonderful stay!

It included both coffee and tea making facilities! The shower was powerful. The bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries. The provided bathrobe was very soft.
