Really good stay, wonderful features

i found the staff to be wonderful, catering to every need i had . check-in was seamless with a warm greeting ensuring a pleasant start. i spent some time walking around super grounds and gardens after dinner. the on-site restaurant presented great food with a great menu.

the stair carpet leading to the rooms had a slight musty smell i noticed.

i didn't stay overnight, but i dined at the bar multiple times. i particularly enjoyed the pieswith proper pastry crusts. the staff were polite, and i found the ambience to be excellent.

The green beans were almost inedible due to being under-cooked. They were hard. the carrots, though soft, were flavoursome.

Game night was a must for us. The interior charmed us and the staff showed attentive care. every flavor reminded me of a taste of heaven and i met the genius chefs. i took home menus for sunday and christmas, promising to come back soon. it was a perfect experience.

The stair carpet to the accommodation was a little unkempt. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

Breakfast WAS superb. The on-site parking was convenient. I found good access to many interesting places nearby. The hotel's historic character shone through in every corner, AND the swing in my bedroom was a good surprise.

I found the stairs difficult to manage because of their steepness. It made moving around the building a challenge.
