Breakfast WAS superb. The on-site parking was convenient. I found good access to many interesting places nearby. The hotel's historic character shone through in every corner, AND the swing in my bedroom was a good surprise.

I found the stairs difficult to manage because of their steepness. It made moving around the building a challenge.

The breakfast did not impress me much. a sliced loaf was offered for toast instead of rustic bread. this detail did not match the quality of the evening meal. also, the road noise was a problem. It was quite noticeable from my room
