dirty pool areabroken loungers

the hotel looked a bit worn down. it could use some fresh paint. i also noticed the pool area wasn't very clean. some loungers were broken too which was a shame. i expected better for the price i payed

The ladies at reception were really good. Every staff member I encountered was cute. The housekeeper even let me back in when I'd managed to lock myself outside. I appreciated that.

The bedding had stains on it. I reported it, and it still had stains after it was supposedly changed. The pillows stank of sweat! I saw lots of cobwebs in the room.

The staff members were lovely and professional! The food was tasty. I recommend the quiche and carvery. I enjoyed a relaxing massage at the spa, it was very good. The pool was great, and I appreciated the comfortable bed. It provided excellent sleep.

The shower was not equipped with robes and included only a fixed head over a narrow bath! The toiletries were unbranded pump action bottles fixed to the wall, a minor inconvenience. A fridge would have been beneficial in the room.

the staff at the front desk were helpful at all times. the room was also a good size.

The electronic key failed multiple times , forcing me to return to reception each time. this caused considerable inconvenience, especially when immediate room access was necessary. furthermore, the bed linens were not properly straightened, disconcerting. It gave the impression of corners being cut.

The hotel featured large, comfortable public areas with real fires and sofas. Rooms were spacious and very well appointed which I appreciated. Breakfast had a decent selection of foods and I felt it was a good value.

The steam room was not in service there.
