broken coffee machine loose patio door handle
The breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection of items. I found this to be adequate.
I had some real issues. The coffee machine in the room did not work. the handle on the patio door felt loose, almost as if it was about to break.

the breakfast had wonderful food. there was also a decent spa being updated. staff were friendly all over the hotel. it's close to beaches and the resort centre.

amazing service kind gesture peaceful pool
The staff provided amazing service. They were always friendly. i received an upgrade to a fantastic room. this was a kind gesture. maids were pleasant and thorough, ALWAYS smiling. the hotel is very peaceful around the pool. you could order drinks from the beach bar.
poolside felt a little restricted. you are not allowed inflatables, and having sun lotions on your table was like an imposition. it was like you couldn't really relax! the rules are strict.

calm and quiet relaxation
great relaxation huge bed perfect housekeeping
i finally stayed at this hotel after wanting to for a long time. i experienced the relaxation and luxury that friends spoke of for years. we stayed in a preferred club frontal ocean view junior suite. it had a super comfortable, huge bed and perfect housekeeping. i thank inge and paula for activities like yoga and pilates (those were fun!).
The main evening meals were repetitive. if you like veal and pork you're sorted, but i found the food was not of a 5-star quality. some days it was dry, chewy and actually tasteless. the hotel restaurants require men to wear long trousers. They allow jeans, but jeans are not 5 star.

i walked thirty-five minutes to the harbor each night for dinner. the walk back was warm and relaxed. sometimes i caught relaxed entertainment in the lobby at the end of the evening. taxis are available for quick transport to the city center.

i enjoyed the lovely spa and had wonderful treatments there. there is an indoor pool for pre-breakfast swims. the facilities were very clean, with cleaners working throughout the day. the rooms are cleaned twice a day to a high standard.

amazing service friendly staff room upgrade amazing view
My wife and I received amazing service from all staff. They were always very friendly. Great communications came from the front desk before we arrived. Upon arrival, we were given an upgrade to a fantastic room. The view was amazing. I am very grateful for this kind gesture from the hotel.
The fizzy soft drinks by the poolside were quite flat. They lacked a distinct taste.

i found the staff very helpful. the concierge assisted with our luggage and explained the hotel layout. the market buffet had a good food selection for both breakfast and dinner.
the pillows were uncomfortable. uk tv availability could have been better. i found some other guests seemed snobby.
