peeling wallpaper limescale stains
the staff were helpful .
The room had a number of issues. the bathroom was small with peeling wallpaper. there were also limescale stains all over.

lovely courtyard twinkly lights tough lamb missing spoon
the suite on the ground floor featured access to a courtyard. it had twinkly lights in the evening. it was nice to take in the air.
the lamb was tough and fatty. it was also pretty tasteless. the cauliflower cheese was delivered without a serving spoon.

The room, a junior suite, had a very spacious design. i liked the historic ambience. It felt luxurious. the architecture stood out, and the room was really good! though it would have been nice to have more natural light.
the hotel lacked air conditioning. this made the room a bit warm, especially during the day.

i had a beautiful room, very spacious. the room featured a pod coffee machine with ferrero rocher chocolates and taylor's teas. the luxurious bedding provided really good comfort. i found towelling robes and slippers in the room, a thoughtful detail.
i noticed the room's decor looked a bit dated.

I stayed here and was thrilled with the upgrade to the Signature Suite. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly upon arrival. The food in the restaurant was AMAZING!!! I had the Sunday lunch and would recommend it.

charming stay at a historic house

kind staff open fire careful design
the staff was kind and helpful, i loved that. the cosy bar included an open fire, it made the hotel very special. the individually designed bedrooms show attention to detail, thats important.
some wear and tear in places, especially poor finishing in the bathroom.
