The reception staff were very helpful. They assisted with getting the appropriate rooms for my group. i received a warm welcome upon arrival. the bistro service was friendly and there was a special welcome for my assistance dog. the breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are not completely soundproof. I could hear some noise from other guests, though i couldn't pinpoint the exact source.

The staff was friendly and made us feel at home.

The macaroni bonbons were tasteless and tasted like freezer food, not homemade. Haggis bonbons were not much better. They were brick hard. The sirloin steak lacked flavor. The sauces were like water, very thin.

I received a call prior to my stay explaining the room type. The staff was great and the lounge provided a quiet space. The location has a beautiful river, lovely forest walks and independent shops.

The staircase to the second floor is slightly steep.

The rooms were big and very comfortable. I also found the staff to be very helpful. The building itself was beautiful (it really stood out!).

The overhead lighting in the room was not good. A metal cage chandelier cast shadows throughout the space. the radiator was controlled by the reception desk, so i had to ask them to adjust it, inconvenient. Finally, the drinks prices felt very high.
