chatting staff worn furniture
The room had a lovely view of the beach and modern amenities were included.
The check-in process was not smooth. I seemed like the staff was chatting more than assisting. The lobby furniture looked a bit worn, and that didn't give the luxury impression I was expecting.

Acceptable Hotel, but Pricey Food
expensive food pricing local currency
The rooms were well-equipped and overlooked the bay.
The pricing of food and drinks was listed entirely in USD rather than the local currency. It was very expensive compared to local prices. I found this completely disconnected from the local market.

the check in was fast. i got my bags delivered swiftly to my room (i appreciate that efficiency).
I requested a phone charger as mine was broken. i was informed that none were available. i had to go to the lobby and wait there to charge my phone. This was not acceptable.
