The dinner menu felt very limited. I ordered a chicken pie. It seemed like it was microwaved. The pastry was stodgy. The potatoes were the same. Breakfast improved things somewhat but sliced white bread for toast was disappointing. There was no other bread option.

the room met expectations it was warm and lovely.

the basin lacked hot water i reported it to staff with no resolution. housekeeping vacuumed during breakfast in the bar area which was disruptive. i observed dust balls under the side table it needed more attention.

the room was spacious and decorated in keeping with the inn's character. it included dark furniture and dark walls. the bathroom was also spacious with a large shower. lovely toiletries were available for guest use with fluffy white towels, bathrobes and slippers.

We never had any hot water in the basin despite speaking to the staff. the duvet was very thick. We were far too hot. dust balls were under the side table in the room, and there was still an auction house sticker on its leg.

The cooked breakfast included many options and tasted great (especially the bacon!). Staff members were cute and helpful . I found high-quality products in the bathroom. The hotel also provided real milk with the coffee bags, a great touch.

i enjoyed the convenient coffee machine in my room, perfect for a quick caffeine fix. the fluffy towels were a nice touch , so soft! the breakfast , with amy usually on shift, was seriously the best i have had , anywhere. gina and michelle were wonderful looking after our group, and i appreciate the friendly service from all the staff.

the bathroom was n't as clean as i would have liked. i spotted some hairs on the floor , which i thought was a bit off.
