an okay stay, i suppose

small starter high prices
the room was indeed clean, so at least there's that.
The vegetarian option at the function i attended cost £36. I expected better than cauliflower cheese, carrots, and peas with a mediterranean dish. the starter portion was small and tasteless, and the gravy arrived just as i was finishing. also, a bottle of average prosecco and a pint of cider cost £43, and 2 coffees were £9. Outrageous prices.

misleading gym hours lack of communication
The indoor pool met expectations. The water temperature was good.
The gym's hours were misleading. Staff told me it closed at 8:30 PM, contradicting the 9:30 PM weekday hours. This lack of communication was frustrating, as I planned my workout around the advertised schedule (a sign at the entrance could have helped!).
