I expected a bit more, i guess. the advertised high-speed wi-fi barely worked in our room. also, the breakfast buffet lacked variety. It seemed the same every morning. fresh fruit would have been a great addition, but there was none. the coffee machine also broke down one morning, leaving many people waiting for a long time! i was really frustrated.

The setting is world class. It is located in the heart of the yorkshire dales national park. There are great footpaths and views all around the hotel, PERFECT for exploring.
