Adequate Stay

natural woodcosy arealovely breakfastonline formevening mealweeks ahead
The room had a lot of natural wood features. The bar area was also very cosy with lit fires. The breakfast was lovely , and I was happy.
The system to book dinner seemed farcical. Once submitted , it could not be changed. I had a party of 13 , but I submitted details for 11 before realizing I could not add the other 2.

Excellent Room and Great Breakfast

I was happy with my spacious room. It had a separate bath. Dinner and breakfast were both GREAT!!! The bedding was lovely. The beer was also great.
The tables were all reserved for dining. Guests had no provision. This was very disappointing.

dirty cutlerygrey eggs
I find i must report issues regarding cleanliness. the cutlery was not clean, and turned cups revealed they had not been properly cleaned. eggs looked to be microwaved until a solid state, their color greyish. A member of the staff was under pressure when trying to serve everyone, causing excessive waits.

spider infestationloose toilet
The cleanliness was not great. I found quite a few spiders in my room, even spiderwebs. it was quite noisy from the bar downstairs. the toilet seat was also loose. it has potential but needs attention to these details.

Acceptable stay. Some issues noted

beautiful suitelong waitchaotic service
The suite was beautiful and had everything I needed.
The evening meal service proved utterly chaotic. I had to order food and drinks at the bar joining a queue each time. Food took a long time to arrive and my cottage pie was just minced meat with some mash.
