Wonderful Stay at Grinkle Park!

mature treesspacious roomdraft beer
We visited for a good stay. The grounds boast mature trees. The rhododendron bushes lined the long driveway creating a BEAUTIFUL entrance. Staff members were friendly and helpful. I loved the spacious room. It had a large bathroom. The two-seater settee and two armchairs with coffee table.
The menu didn't change . there was no proper beer available, only the fizzy stuff. At least one draft beer should BE available.

Acceptable, but some issues persist

helpful staffslow servicemargarine instead of butter
Staff members were helpful and friendly .
Service at dinner was slow. Wine came late. A jug of water was not offered. When requested, it arrived slowly. The big letdown was the cheap margarine served instead of butter. I had to request proper butter at breakfast after discussing the margarine issue the night before. It is unbelievable.
