Mixed Feelings About My Stay

excessive pricecomplimentary glass
The advertised sharing plate menu included a complimentary glass of prosecco, but we were never offered it. The price for a glass of Pinot Grigio Blush felt excessive. While the sharing plate itself was good, the high wine prices did leave a bad taste.

The car parked right outside. the suite included a well-stocked fridge if refreshments were needed. a range of snacks (obviously to pay for). the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom included a spacious shower. i enjoyed the outdoor seating area with a table and chairs.
i prebooked dinner with a table for 7:30, but i waited 45 minutes for the previous people to vacate it. even after my appointed time, they were served coffee and nothing happened. this really spoilt the stay (it was a weekend away).

The staff were attentive and friendly. I loved the wonderful atmosphere they created! we had a family suite and the car parked right outside, so convenient! the family suite itself was excellent! there was a fantastic choice in the restaurant, and the food was fabulous for both the adults and kids.
The beams in certain areas of the large double room require extra caution. I bumped my head once.

expensive winemissing offer
I was looking forward to a complimentary glass of prosecco i never received. the sharing plate menu was advertised with this offer. sadly, no one offered it, not surprising considering the high wine prices. a glass of pino grigio blush cost £12.65. It had an optional service charge attached. the sharing plate was good, but expensive wine left me feeling let down.
