I enjoyed the complimentary refreshment tray. It had fresh milk and delicious biscuits. The staff displayed a proactive approach and wanted to ensure customers were happy. After exploring the area, i wanted something light. I was offered perfectly cooked mackerel with greens and buttery new potatoes. I found it relaxing to watch pigs amble around and wallow in mud at the back of the garden.

Adequate stay. Issues encountered

early noise expensive wine
the hotel rooms matched their descriptions online.
The noise was a major issue. Bin collections occurred early and disturbed sleep. the restaurant's limited dinner options also proved frustrating, as there was no flexibility in the menu one evening. the wine prices seemed excessively high as well.
