I had a lovely experience. the staff accommodated my wedding night request with great kindness. they added very thoughtful touches to our room. That meant a lot. we used the spa facilities early and explored the grounds.

the noise from drunk girls next door was awful, especially because of a connecting door. it impacted our stay a bit.

Wonderful anniversary stay!

The staff greeted us with a warm welcome. Little touches made it special, like anniversary wishes in our room. We used the spa before check-in and enjoyed lunch at the Conservatory. Dinner at Omboo was excellent and had a great atmosphere. The Octagon bar offered cozy, relaxed cocktails. Our chic room had views of the grounds. Breakfast had a good selection and the scrambled eggs were very nice. I suggest going before 9am, as it got busier later on.

The final bill felt confusing, as items listed didn't quite match what we ordered.

Some issues detracted from an otherwise acceptable stay

The spa access situation was unclear. I was surprised that full access requires an additional fee of £120 per person daily. a bottle of prosecco I ordered was warm. The waiter placed it in an ice bucket but the bottle never chilled. It was a complete waste.

Wonderful stay and great spa!

I enjoyed the afternoon refresh package that provided access to the club at the cotton mill spa. There were plenty of steam rooms and saunas available to relax muscles in between jacuzzi and pool sessions. The grounds are fine. Maddie, the massage therapist, gave an very nice deep tissue massage that relieved my chronic shoulder pain.

The room doors lacked soft close mechanisms causing constant banging noises throughout my stay.
