lovely getaway

king bed quality linen convenient power

i adored the room, it featured a separate seating area including a tv. the linen on the super king bed felt very high quality. power points were conveniently located beside the bed. the separate seating area's sofa was older, but it was functional.

The spa jacuzzi wasn't operational. Nobody let me know. i waited a long time.

breakfast offered many options, including cereals, fresh fruit and a full english. the evening meal came from a set menu with diverse foods. the restaurant personnel were excellent, especially ben, sebastian, and adrianna, they made a lasting impact.

nice touch cooked options

i enjoyed the complimentary gin and tonic in the room it was a nice touch the breakfast offered many cooked options it was a great start to the day

i noticed the bar staff referred to a guide when making cocktails i found that a bit unprofessional

Lovely Stay

good breakfast amazing setting great spot easy walk

Breakfast was very good. The spa was lovely and set in an amazing setting overlooking the river (i felt so relaxed there!). I also found the hotel in a great spot with short walking distance to all shops. It was an easy walk into the town and there were lots of great walks from the door.

The spa area includes a hot tub, sauna, and steam room. The hotel also has a well kept garden with views of the surrounding hills. Guests can find ample parking on the premises, free of charge, a very convinient perk.

The room includes a king-size bed, a seating area, and a work desk. There is also a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower (it was so practical!). The beautiful double room was very clean and super clean upon arrival.

The breakfast buffet featured a selection of hot and cold items. The restaurant provides both à la carte and set menus for dinner. The king prawn starter was very nice, a combination of flavours that were a delight.

lovely view hydrotherapy pool excellent breakfast continental breakfast working toaster

the hydrotherapy pool provided a lovely view during my spa visits and the area was consistently clean. i found the continental breakfast had a good selection of items. the toaster worked better than others i used at hotels and that was a plus.

I was disappointed by the small food portions at breakfast. The music in the dining hall in the evening was awful. It was very off putting. The menu choices were limited (i do not like limited options).

average stay due to restaurant issues

slow service tough steak

the restaurant service was quite slow. it took an long time to receive our meals.. i think over an hour for the main course. also, the ribeye steak i ordered was unfortunately tough and not very good. this definitely affected the overall dining experience.
