lovely stay with amazing views
king-size bed breakfast choice convenient location traditional decor
the room featured a comfortable king-size bed. the breakfast offered many choices. the inn provides excellent access to nearby fells and the lake (a very convenient location). i was really charmed with the traditional decor and comfortable furnishings.
the bar seemed a little understaffed at times, and i experienced a bit of a wait to be served, but the staff did their best under pressure.

easy check-in clean room comfortable bed
The check-in process was both easy and swift. My room was looked super fresh with a great en suite bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and ensured a restful night.
Parking presented a challenge as the hotel car park was small. I had to use the public car park which incurred an additional daily fee.

terrible parking limited ventilation
The room size was great (I had a Twin Room).
The parking situation was terrible. There was scarcely any parking available at the hotel. I had to walk quite a distance in the rain. The window barely opened, so ventilation was limited.

The location near the lake suited me well. The food was quite great (I especially liked the breakfast selection). The staff were excellent and always willing to help, going the extra mile to ensure I had a great stay.
