The staff were friendly. The reception area was bright. The bar offered excellent facilities. (I found the atmosphere very relaxing). The hotel location allowed easy access to the university area after a ten-minute walk. Metro access was convenient, with the station located five minutes from the hotel.
Navigating inside the hotel proved a little difficult due to unclear signage.

the front desk gentleman was excellent upon my arrival and the following evening. he assisted with watching the rugby. he was very helpful and polite (his service was greatly appreciated). the room and amenities were very clean, including a very comfortable bed and great breakfast.
the room was a bit challenging to get to. it was situated at the back, so it wasn't within earshot of the main road, a plus.

the room reeked of dampness the sofa had coffee stains and the curtain was torn i was really unhappy about this i thought they would offer something but no one cared. i was expecting much more especially about the room situation. the staff did nothing to accommodate me.

the check-in process was smooth, and the receptionist gave clear directions regarding parking and dining. our room had complimentary bottled water, a nice touch. breakfast had a good selection, i appreciated the friendly staff. the front desk helped me set up parking when the meter didn't work.
i noticed the bed felt a bit too soft for my preference, though i still slept well.
