My room had a decanter with gin upon arrival. The spa facilities included a pool, sauna, and steam room. Each person in our group received a massage and facial. The hotel location is close to the sea and Mudeford Quay.

The hotel charges extra for a cooked breakfast. The continental breakfast options were not always fully stocked. I found this to be quite disappointing and unexpected .

The staff promises didn't quite deliver. I was told bathrobes were in the room to use for the spa, but they weren't there. I was informed at check-in that someone would bring ice and lemon for the complementary gin between 5 and 6. That never happened. Gluten-free options at breakfast only appear after you ask, and then they only have toast. The breakfast room seemed a little out of date.

My two friends and I enjoyed an overnight spa break to celebrate a birthday milestone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room. It consisted of a double room, a twin room and a bathroom. The hotel provided touches such as a welcome gin decanter, biscuits, a coffee machine, fresh milk, ice and lemon slices.

The steam room was out of service for two days . I found peeling paint above the Jacuzzi. The ladies' changing rooms felt cramped, and I lost the feeling of relaxation.

The location near the harbour was acceptable.

My room was not properly cleaned. I found the carpet stained in places and chips on some furniture. It was disappointing. The duvet cover also had marks resembling black pen spots. I also discovered that the towel rail in the bathroom did not work despite what reception said.

The reception staff gave a very friendly greeting on arrival. i received a call five minutes later to see if i was happy with the beautiful double room harbour view. This was a nice touch.
