The location was ideal, steps from the railway station! the staff were very friendly and helpful. i really appreciated the power sockets next to the bed. And the shower was lovely and powerful.

The curtain was not properly attached to the rail! a street view greeted me when the curtains were open as there were no net curtains. the light was too dim. And no bedside lights were available.

I found the staff quite helpful . The room included coffee, tea, juice, and snacks. A cafe across the street offers an excellent full English breakfast. I appreciated that option. The price was fair. It offered good value.

The desk in the room had some peeling wooden parts, which posed a minor safety hazard.

The check in was speedy and so friendly. I felt very welcome. The room was a delight, bright and clean. It had everything I needed like a smart tv and super fast wifi. I couldn't ask for more. It was a short walk to the train station, maybe five minutes.

The coating on the desk in my room peeled a bit and was held down with tape. It was a very minor imperfection.

The room was spacious with storage like desk drawers and a wardrobe. I also appreciated the refreshment tray. It had juices and oat bars. The bathroom felt huge.

A wonderful little cafe sits across from the hotel and offers breakfast. I also noticed there was a pub a short walk from the front door with outdoor seating, perfect for a drink. The hotel has a vegetarian restaurant.

the location WORKS very well, being very close to the train station. Staff were friendly, which i APPRECIATEd. The room WAS clean. i was happy to see tea, coffee, and snacks available.

the hotel IS a bit tired and needs updating. nothing matches. the furniture seemed a little old.
