i enjoyed the very friendly and helpful staff. the hotel upgraded my room to a superior one, a nice surprise. i found a smart tv in the room, allowing me to watch netflix and relax (it made my evening perfect).
the limited bistro bar menu meant i didn't eat there after the first night.

the room was clean and in acceptable condition.
the payment process was frustrating , multiple charges looked on my card labeled as 'deposits' , alongside the final sum. this led to confusion , as it seemed the stay was not fully paid while money was already withdrawn. my bank found the situation suspicious , and my card was blocked as a result.

The location was acceptable because it was close to the square.
I booked a suite, and I expected a suite. The hotel had overbooked, and I was not moved until the following day after I complained. A 30-minute fire alarm test occurred without any notification, terrible since I was in the middle of a business call. These issues created a bad feeling from the stay.

I found the staff very professional. They addressed my needs quickly. The building presented a well-done restoration. The quiet garden surprised me and was a peaceful area.
I found the light switches unnecessarily complicated. It took me three days to learn their logic.
