i stayed in a lovely room. the bed was very comfy with quality linen. a breakfast hamper included some goodies since they aren't doing breakfast now. the new owner reopened the inn and is recruiting a chef.

the room had table lamps, a ceiling light and a wall light, i still needed my phone light to read. the radiators did not give out any heat. i received a portable heater that worked well.

The staff offered assistance with charging my phone without hesitation. the room included a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk, water, and orange juice! the owner, will, promptly contacted us about a suit left behind and arranged its return. I found that to be excellent service from start to finish.

The shower had unpredictable water temperature. The hot and cold mix changed mid-shower, not ideal!

I noticed the light breakfast offered was not enough. The breakfast hamper included items that felt cheap. Accessing the shower over the jacuzzi bath was unsafe for me. I could also hear quite a bit of road traffic from my room.
