The staff at reception were very helpful upon arrival. the location is great. My room faced the water meadows, so i had nice views. the bar area provided both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the meadows. i found the restaurant spacious, and i enjoyed every meal there.

The location was fine! The bar and restaurant provided good food at a reasonable price. I found the room quite large. It was in a horseshoe shape. The bed was really comfy!
The windows were dirty. This detracted from the beautiful views! Daily cleaning for cups and glasses was not included. Replenishing of tea and coffee was also not done daily. This was a shame.

The staff responded quickly to my requests at reception. The bar staff were very friendly and conversational. I enjoyed walks around the water meadows next to the hotel. It was great to see the water wheel made into a major feature.
The room was away from the main building.

The hotel has car parking available to guests. There is an upstairs outside bar that is nicely decorated. The terrace bar is a must when the weather is warm.

My room provided a restful experience because of the pleasant meadow view. I appreciated the restaurant being open sunday night because weather was stormy. The staff helped book taxis to a wedding event. The setting offered picturesque views from an elevated terrace.
The room had no air conditioning it got a little hot during the day.
