spacious room great character amazing treatments
the superior room was spacious. it was full of character. the spa treatments were amazing!!!

charming stay
good room size convenient ground floor historic building great breakfast selection
the room size was very good. it was convenient being on the ground floor because a family member had mobility issues. the historic building and the lovely grounds added character to our stay. the breakfast selection was also great with many options.
the bar area could benefit from an update. i felt it lacked a cohesive identity because of the mismatched furnishings.

the gym had modern equipment. i saw several treadmills and stationary bikes available for use. the swimming pool was warm and inviting providing a relaxing experience after a long day of travel.

clean room comfortable bed faulty tv missing guide
the breakfast was really good (especially the sausages!). the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. i had a standard king room. i also appreciated the quiet atmosphere.
the tv in my room did not work. i tried to fix it myself, but i could not get a connection. also, the room lacked a channel list guide so it was a bit hard to see what was on.

beautiful grounds leisure facilities bathroom condition heating issue
The grounds are beautiful for walks, especially with dogs. I saw nice leisure facilities available. The rooms felt large and had everything I needed.
The room was not heated well and the towel rack was the only heat source in the large bathroom. I did notice the water glasses in the bathroom were not changed . I noticed lipstick stains.

small changing room broken dispenser
the staff was FRIENDLY. i had forgotten my phone charger and they were very helpful.
the changing rooms were small. only two showers existed and in the one i used the soap dispenser didn't work. the toilets DIDN'T have elemis products while the hotel itself did.

friendly staff lovely grounds water fountain
The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel grounds were well-kept. My room had a water fountain in the corridor. I also found on-site parking away from the main road. It was very convenient.
I noticed the absence of lifts. This posed an inconvenience with luggage.
