insufficient lighting inconsistent minibar
The room lacked sufficient lighting. Reading in the evening was difficult. The minibar was not restocked daily. I had to call several times to replenish it. This was quite an inconvenience and not what one expects from a hotel of this caliber. The delay affected my schedule, as I had to wait around for the items. I found this quite FRUSTRATING.

street noise faulty shower head
the location was good it was close to mayfair and regent street.
i booked a superior king room and was disappointed. the room lacked proper soundproofing, i heard street noise late into the night. also, the bathroom had a faulty shower head that sprayed water all over the floor.

i appreciated that the hotel offered directions to the stadium. the room had elegant furnishings. the fitness center was well-equipped.

a flawless team and timeless elegance
helpful doormen cozy room
the doormen were a delight. they were always helpful and ready to assist. our room was well appointed and housekeeping went the extra mile to make our room cozy. service, and the premises's location.
i wanted to sit downstairs to read and enjoy a hot drink. i was told i could not eat there as it is a carpeted area. i might get food on the floor and it is the rules of the hotel.

the team at the club lounge were a highlight of my trip. the concierges were impressively responsive, turning around requests with unmatched timeliness.

jazz recommended the wigmore. i returned for the sunday roast after a saturday night pre-theater meal. the food was great and the gentlemen who greeted us at the door took care of us both times.
