We got a room in the main building, a complimentary room upgrade. The library bar had good food and attentive staff. Staff were friendly and helpful! The grounds are gorgeous, a lovely stay.

The grade II Manor House sits within a beautiful arboretum. I enjoyed lovely walks in the grounds. The surroundings were wonderful both inside and out. Parking was plentiful and there were great views from the gardens.

the grounds were scenic. the hotel was well kept. the staff were helpful. the food was excellent i had not had such good food in a long time.

the room was not very clean. the carpet had not been vacuumed well. i found debris that was not ours even after housekeeping attempted a second cleaning. the pool area was overcrowded.

i secured a courtyard superior double room for a couple of nights! i was thrilled with the room's cleanliness and space. the hotel staff were super cute. the gardens were fine, perfect for walks! i found convenient parking right near my room.

the windows didn't open very wide and there was no air conditioning and no fan in the room! it was a hot day. the heat in the room made it uncomfortable.
