my double room, it had a beautiful view. i loved the bed linen, so soft. breakfast, had many delicious options and the location it was charming.
the room felt a bit tired, like it needed a little refresh, i noticed.

the reception staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything. they seemed efficient, and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble for them. i felt welcome and taken care of throughout my stay.

the breakfast offers much abundance. i found the choices very fresh. the evening meal at the boathouse restaurant was delicious. i appreciated the quality ingredients and careful preparation.

Mixed Experience. Some Issues Noted
strong scentunwelcoming staff
I found several aspects needed improvement. The shower had a curtain, not suitable for a four-star hotel. Bath products had an overwhelmingly strong scent, like petrol. The staff seemed unwelcoming and gave limited information. I visited the spa. The changing room was a mess with towels on the floor. were swimming in denim shorts, posing a hygiene concern.

The room was spacious breakfast was good and the location near the lake was scenic.
I had issues with the separate charge for the swimming pool it seemed overpriced at £10 per person. The steam room was out of service a major letdown. Other guests were unfriendly making the stay less pleasant.
