romantic getaway!

great coffee convenient location helpful recommendation warm welcome

Gabrielle made GREAT coffee. She remembered exactly how i liked it. the location was very convenient, just off the motorway. i appreciated the effort to make my coffee perfect. sam's restaurant provided a positive experience with polite jasmine. She offered helpful food recommendations and a warm welcome.

The changing area needed a very thorough cleaning. Dust was VERY visible on the extractor fans.

dirty room slow service

The room provided was not up to par, i found old toe nail clippings in the bath. A disgusting sight. service felt slow, especially at reception, and staff did not show effort. i will not be returning.

the breakfast buffet had a good selection. the cooked breakfast used high quality ingredients. the base rooms were well-proportioned.

The car park was very busy upon arrival. i found a space eventually. staff seemed a bit distracted at check-in. It took some time to get their attention.

solid room, decent food

relaxing massage attentive staff

i visited the spa, it was a wonderful experience with the fire and ice experience included. my massage was very relaxing. the ryder grill was great, and the staff helped me with my requests about coeliac disease, i appreciated that.

the pool reminded me of a leisure center with children's swimming lessons taking place. it was busy, and seemed run down. it did not made for a relaxing atmosphere. drinks were costly with service charge added, even when ordering at the bar.

the room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. the bed was a super king. i found blackout curtains which helped with sleep.
