charming stay at a cozy hotel

The rooms were very clean with tea and coffee facilities. There was also an ironing board in my room. i appreciated the walk in shower alongside the dove products in the bathroom. the breakfast was really good with a buffet style, full english, and continental options.
i found that my room looked a little worn, so it needs some repair. a few areas were not up to par with the rest of the hotel's standards.

The staff were really lovely! i mentioned to the manager at check-in that my mum and i were visiting for her birthday. He gave her a complimentary drink voucher for the bar. the room was clean and just what we needed!
we had booked a premier room but were initially given a standard room. the premium room was a good size but very tired. carpets rippled, and the rooms looked nothing like the website images!!!

I had a telephone for enquiries to reception. The hotel provided a menu for meal options. The staff was very helpful and professional. They kept the rooms very clean and well equipped. I requested a quiet room and my request was met.
Parking is tight. It can be difficult to find a space during peak times.
