heritage charm stay
fluffy towels pleasant atmosphere
the room had big fluffy towels and good bathroom facilities. breakfast was made to order, and i found it nice. the location is pleasant near the cathedral. i also found the atmosphere pleasant.
i was informed the aircon was not working after i had paid for the room. it was one of the hottest days of the year. i was disappointed because i would have gone elsewhere.

great location fantastic location period feature amazing night's sleep broken fridge missing hanger empty hanger falling curtain
The hotel's location is really great. I found the building to be historical with period features. The bed gave me an amazing night's sleep. Breakfast included with the stay was good and the service was quick.
The fridge in my room did not work. I found no hangers in the closet. The curtains were falling off the rail. I also experienced issues with the Wi-Fi, it was off. A loose toilet seat was an additional inconvenience.

large room friendly service
i had a large double room. the reception desk staff completed check in quick. i found the breakfast included to be of good quality. friendly service was provided at the bar with a good selection of drinks.
the hotel website mentioned rooms with tubs and extra amenities. my room lacked those specific items like a safe and iron.
