I appreciated the hotel's convenient location near the ferry terminal. The staff offered a warm, friendly welcome. The hotel presented immaculate conditions. My room featured good ensuite facilities.
The carpet slightly obstructed the door. I had to apply extra force to open it.

the staff was good and helpful, even when the hotel was rather quiet. the chef was excellent and the food was very, very good. i found the beer and wine choice good and the coffee excellent. they made a packed lunch for me.
i found the new carpet stopped the door opening properly, i needed to put my shoulder to it.

The bathroom was very small. It was like a sauna after showering. housekeeping was not consistent. I had to ask for towels one day because none were left in my room.

a uist sanctuary

simon at the front desk welcomed us warmly. he offered great advice about island destinations and dining. the team members i spoke with were a credit to the hotel. the room was quite large. the wifi worked well. breakfasts were delicious. a very quiet night we had while exploring uist.
the bathroom seemed small, and the extractor fan was not working. it felt a little like a sauna after a shower.

the room had modern decor and was very clean. it featured comfortable beds and lovely, soft bedding. blackout curtains ensured deep sleep. a tv and tea and coffee making facilities were available.
