splendid stay with views!

great location harbor view friendly staff cute room

the hotel location was fantastic! it was easy to access the city sights. our superior double room included a balcony with harbor and island views. the staff was very friendly and helpful! i enjoyed relaxing in our cute room.

the spa sauna was out of service , a little disappointing.

the hotel provides convenient parking at the underground citadel parking. an elevator connects the citadel to the harbor area. this offers easy access if one prefers not to use stairs.

breakfast offered a wide selection of breads, cakes, cheese, and cereal. the hotel restaurant set up our table near the fireplace on a chilly evening. i found this to be perfect.

a romantic interlude

good linen spacious bathroom sea view

the room was a superior room sea view and it felt so special. its big bed and the linens were very good quality. the bathroom was spacious with sinks and a big shower.

the spa sauna wasn't working, and the hammam was barely heated.

the staff remained nice and very helpful . i saw them assist guests with directions and always had a genuine smile. they also helped me with my luggage quickly.

sauna outage plumbing issue

The spa sauna was out of order. It was a real letdown. the hammam barely heated, and its light flickered. no spa treatments were available at all. also, the hotel charged a daily fee for my dog, despite issues we faced . That felt unfair. they didn't address a plumbing issue, citing a 'do not disturb' sign. It lasted several days, and i found that very frustrating
