a adequate stay
easy access quiet room broken hairdryer misaligned shower
location was really great i must admit. the access to transportation was easy to find. also, the rooms were actually pretty quiet, what was nice.
The hairdryer in my room did not work. staff replaced it for me, but it was still an inconvenience in the morning. the overhead shower was misaligned. It soaked most of the bathroom.

Really good Hotel Experience!
helpful staff prime location
The staff was friendly and helpful ensuring our bags were delivered promptly to our room. The location is excellent providing easy access to transportation options for exploring nearby locations. The high-floor room was quiet. A true escape from the bustling city below. I appreciated having a well-equipped bathroom .

Excellent Location and Cozy Rooms
train convenience luggage storage central location
The hotel's proximity to King's Cross made our early train to Edinburgh very convenient. Staff accommodated us by storing our luggage upon arrival. The location is near shops and food options, and provides easy access to transportation for exploring the city.
The housekeeper entered our room while I was in the bathroom, which startled my daughter. This occurred at 6 pm after we experienced a delay in accessing our room.

Our room had a fine view we enjoyed with espresso each morning. The room was quiet and cozy. It included everything we needed, despite being compact, so that was okay.

There is a pantry at the end of the hallway which offers a Nespresso machine and kettle. The pantry also features fruit and cakes. The restaurant was marvellous so I was very happy.

The hotel is practically attached to King's Cross station. This made it very easy to catch our train. Access to transportation and nearby shops was beneficial. The hotel is a great option for early departures.

The reception staff was helpful and assisted with taking my case to my room. They aided me at check-in and check-out. The staff also arranged a late check-out, I greatly appreciated the gesture.

Generally pleasant stay near the station
convenient location friendly staff small room corridor tea
The hotel is in a VERY convenient location next to the train station. The staff members were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast had good options and the food was tasty. My room was quiet. This was excellent considering the busy central location.
The room was smaller than I expected. I had to walk to the end of the corridor to make a cup of tea. It would have been better to have tea-making facilities in the room ITSELF.

Acceptable Stay but Reception Issues
robotic check-in ordinary room
The location suited my travel plans well.
Check-in felt cold and robotic, not cute. The room was quite ordinary. I expected more for the price, especially compared to similar hotels nearby! I found the level of service and room quality inconsistent with a 5-star rating.
