The room was super clean the amenities were good. The staff WAS very professional the service was prompt. I enjoyed the breakfast it was fresh and varied.
The wifi signal was quite weak I found it challenging to work. The gym equipment seemed a bit dated some machines needed maintenance. The parking lot lighting was insufficient at night it felt unsafe.

the breakfast offered many choices , and the service was efficient. i found the staff to be attentive in the restaurant. the building exhibited fine architecture , which suited the character of the historic house.
the food in the bar was not of great quality , and the menu had limited choices. i thought the bread served was not very fresh. i would expect better from a hotel of this standard.

The room was gorgeous with great space and amenities. It included a beautiful view. The bed was a four poster and very comfortable. There was ample wardrobe space and a nice big dressing table with a mirror. Breakfast was lovely each day with sit down service so I felt spoilt.
I noticed a slight lack of public areas. It would be great to have more spots to sit or have a coffee and chat. This would improve the overall experience.
