wonderful room and amazing food!

friendly staff immaculate room salmon breakfast dinner portion

the room was immaculate i loved it. the breakfast i had included salmon with scrambled egg it tasted awesome. dinner portions were huge i enjoyed it a lot.

the shower did take a few minutes to get hot i wasted water i wasn't happy about that.

underwhelming stay

narrow stairs hot water

the location was fine , i guess.

the room i had required climbing two flights of narrow stairs , a real joy with luggage and a small dog. the carpets looked like they belonged in a museum , and not a good one. also , it took ages for the shower to actually produce hot water , which isn't ideal when you just want a quick wash.

jammed curtains insufficient toilet paper

the breakfast was generous and had many cooked options , which was acceptable.

the curtains in the room were jammed , so i couldn't open them after closing them the first night. the room felt stuffy , and i couldn't leave the windows open during the day because i was on the ground floor. also , there wasn't enough toilet paper provided , and i had to ask the busy bar staff for more.

friendly staff generous portions secure parking

the staff were all very friendly and polite. the food was good, and the portions were generous. private parking was available, and i appreciated that it felt secure.

the curtains in my room were a little stiff on the track.

A Lovely Stay, High-Quality Meals and Friendly Staff

excellent meals quiet room helpful staff

The meals were all excellent. The room was comfortable and very quiet (a huge plus for me), so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. The staff was lovely and very helpful .
