a lovely romantic retreat

the room was gorgeous and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. we especially loved how accommodating the staff was when we needed to check in late. the breakfast in the bar area had fresh and good products, it created a lovely start to our days. i felt very welcomed.
the stairs creaked quite a bit, but it added to the charm of the old building.

parking is ample and made arrivals easy for everyone. there are dog bowls available for rooms and free treats provided, especially cute with pets. the lovely rooms are well stocked for a comfortable stay.

the manager was helpful in solving a check-in issue, he found an alternative arrival method after hours. staff allowed us to check in early, something we greatly appreciated given our tight schedule. special attention was given to our dog, who even received a breakfast.

staff were polite. the location worked for what i needed on this trip.
the roast i ordered was the worst i have ever had. the prawns in the prawn cocktail were tiny, no bigger than my thumb nail. the gravy was already on the roast and it tasted dreadful. i definitely will not be returning for another meal.
