the room service PROVED convenient, especially while i was recovering. A fridge was available in the room , allowing us to store fresh milk. HOT chocolate was provided with the tea tray.
the shower MADE a strange noise.

the staff were really friendly and helpful. the hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. my room had fresh milk in the fridge, a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower. i found secure parking available and appreciated the attractive building.
The bed was smaller than expected. I booked a double room and the bed was a small 4ft double. this made it less comfortable for two people

i had breakfast each morning and it was excellent, i had the full english cooked to order one morning and avocado with poached eggs the next. toast and coffee were always available, very convenient.

the hotel provides secure parking on lovely, spacious grounds. the building is well maintained and attractive. it is a great spot for visiting nearby attractions such as jane austen's house in chawton.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was comfortable and quiet with everything i needed. the quality of the food was excellent! i really appreciated the free bottled water and the real milk for coffee. the tea and coffee setup was also a nice touch, though the parking was expensive.
i kept hearing people outside in the car park and outside on the room next to mine.

martin at reception was very friendly and always willing to help. gary were great too look after me all afternoon and evening. all staff were kind and helpful, it was appreciated.

the food was piping hot when it arrived via room service and very tasty! the restaurant dinner menu was amazing as well. the breakfast was uber-fresh and varied, a top offering!

the hotel is part of a beautiful country mansion set in lush and peaceful gardens. the grounds are beautiful and the surroundings are relaxing. it felt very private, intimate and cosy!

The grounds were beautifully maintained. I received a cute children's pack upon arrival, a nice touch. Breakfast was great with really kind staff. Check-in staff were helpful, and this made the arrival process very smooth.
My room wasn't as clean as I expected. The attention to detail could have been better.

The breakfast buffet offered many choices. staffing were friendly. i particularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice. I refilled my glass several times. the food was AMAZING!!!
