a building with some issues.

period building tranquil stream attentive staff free parking soft bed breakfast inclusion

the building has a wonderful period style with many unique touches. i appreciated the tranquil stream at the end of the beer garden. the staff seemed great, so i felt at home there.

the listing implied free parking on site, but this was incorrect. you must park on the road or in the village car park some distance away. the bed felt too soft to me.

the garden was superb. i found the greenery quite acceptable.

the shower head was rather mouldy. bathroom tlc is needed. also, there was zero local literature available to point me to places worth seeing. that information would have been so helpful. it was definitely missed

friendly staff tasty food historic fabric

i found the staff very friendly. the food was creative and tasty. i loved how the historic fabric was maintained throughout the building.

The bed was too soft. This is my personal preference though.
