The Family Suite had plenty of space for a family. It also featured a separate single bedroom. I found the large bathroom included both a bath and a shower.

The cooked breakfast was a little overdone.

large tv tea options friendly staff roaring fire

the room was very clean it had a large tv and many tea and coffee options i also found biscuits. the staff was helpful and friendly the service was prompt. i enjoyed the excellent breakfast. the restaurant had a very good menu and a roaring fire making it cozy.

the wi-fi connection could have been more consistent it was a little patchy at times.

the location is convenient when traveling from bristol. the surrounding area offers a nice starting point for walks. it is close to many shops and provides easy access to the fine mendip hills.

the room was excellent. it was a standard double room. the staff were all great. the food was very good too.

the hotel has ample parking. i noticed it is near cheddar gorge. the general surroundings were acceptable for a short stay. it is a great spot.

traffic noise heating control

i must say, the location wasn't ideal (the traffic was definitely noticeable). also, the room temperature was hard to regulate. the heating seemed to be either fully on or completely off, it. i struggled to find a comfortable middle ground. it was quite disappointing overall.

friendly staff large bathroom hard bed weekend ruined

the staff were friendly and helpful. the family room was large with plenty of space, especially the bathroom. the bathroom even had a large bath and a shower.

i was disappointed, the bed was the hardest plank of wood i have never slept on. i was awake all night unable to get comfortable. such a disappointment and it ruined the weekend.

the family junior suite offered ample space for luggage.. it included a large bathroom. the restaurant provided a superb dinner. the parking area had dedicated charging points for electric cars.

the general surroundings suffered from traffic noise.
